Masih ingat tulisan itu didapatkan pada waktu masih kuliah di IPB dan aktif di perkumpulan mahasiswa pencinta alam IPB (Lawalata IPB). Salah satu bait dari puisi “Song of the open road” karya Walt Whitman di atas pernah di tulis di kaos anggota Lawalata angkatan Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun.

“To be a best person”, kenapa harus tumbuh di udara terbuka? Kenapa juga harus “eat and sleep with the earth”?
